Learn Piano the Creative Way
High Quality Piano Lessons for Ages 6-18 in Acton, MA

Private & Buddy Lessons
‘Buddy lesson’ is a unique format that allows for the learning of skills beyond ‘just’ reading music. The special dynamic created between two students is motivating, and combines the best aspects of individual and group learning.

Progress & Enjoyment
Games are used to prepare students for new concepts and replace teacher-focused explanations. Students engage in discovery, and the work of learning is done in an enjoyable way.

Quality Resources
Students use modern and individualized curriculum based on best current practices. Students have access to digital resources including backing tracks and pratice aids to enhance learning in between lessons.

“My son took lessons with Michelle for multiple years. Michelle was a patient and encouraging teacher who guided and taught him to appreciate and enjoy the music he played. My son made excellent progress with Michelle as his guide. Michelle allowed him to learn at his own pace and while at times it wasn’t easy, he kept at it with her constant support.”

Welcome
Students benefit from fun, high quality lessons that are beyond “turn-page” piano lessons. A shared love of music helps cultivate an atmosphere of wonder and excitement, which helps carry students through challenges.
High Quality Lessons
Students and parents love the variety offered within the lessons. Between studio challenges and composition projects, the excitement for piano continues even after the novelty has worn off. The smaller studio size allows for the teacher to carefully plan for the development of each student.
The Right Pieces at the Right Time
It’s a joy to see genuine excitement in a student’s eyes when they’ve just heard a piece they’re excited to learn. Whether it is pianistic video game inspired solos, dreamy and contemplative pieces, or flashy Spanish-style pieces, there’s something for everyone.
Motivating Learning Atmosphere
A special learning environment is created through the right level of challenge, and the good rapport that is cultivated between the teacher, student, and parents. If something isn’t working, we scrap it or change direction so the student doesn’t get stuck. This has resulted in students sticking with piano through their teenage years.
