I have passion for introducing and cultivating a love of quality piano literature to my students, and equipping them with an adaptable skill set that allows them to make music in a variety of ways. It’s so much fun being in the thick of working with students. With fifteen years of experience ranging from teaching young beginners to music theory at the collegiate level, my goal is to provide students with wonderful musical experiences that inspire them to make music long after their formal lessons have ended. I hold degrees in piano performance and music education, am a licensed music educator in MA, and earned national certification in teaching piano through the Music Teacher’s National Association. I’ve performed in classical and jazz ensembles as a Navy Musician, as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the Chicago, New York, and D.C. metro areas.
