With fifteen years of teaching experience, my goal is to provide students with wonderful musical experiences that inspire them to make music long after their formal lessons have ended. I received a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance, a Master of Science in music education, and hold the designation of Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) through the Music Teachers National Association. Performing experience as a pianist in Big Band, jazz combos, and orchestra pits has taught me the importance of equipping hobby pianists with a tangible and versatile skill set that allows them to make music in a variety of ways.
