Scheduled Holidays

The following weeks are not included in the tuition:

The monthly payment amount is divided evenly between the 10 months from September to June inclusive. The fee is the same whether there are 5 or 2 scheduled lessons in a given month.
Tuition is based on enrollment; there are no credits or refunds for student-missed lessons.
There is an annual registration fee payable when registering. This holds your spot in the studio and goes towards the cost of materials and books throughout the year.
Fees cover the cost of lessons, studio recitals, and all materials, including books.

Schedule

Lessons are scheduled at a mutually agreed time when the student begins lessons, and at the beginning of each academic year thereafter. If a student/parent wishes to change their lesson time mid-year this can be discussed on a case-by-case basis, however, this is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Missed Lessons

Tuition reserves a place in the weekly schedule and in a complete program of study, which includes more than the time spent on any one lesson. When a student misses a lesson for any reason, there is no guarantee of a make-up i.e. rescheduling.
If a student cannot attend in person but is available at the same time, they can have an online lesson. A video lesson can be arranged with advance notice if a student cannot attend at all that day.
If for any reason the teacher must cancel a lesson during the year, she will offer a make-up lesson at a different time, or if a suitable time cannot be arranged, the fee will be credited.

Termination of Lessons

In the event a student needs to discontinue lessons, one month’s notice is required.
Lessons may be discontinued by the teacher at any time for any reason. If there are any pre-paid lessons after the date of cancellation, a pro-rated refund will be given.
